Today was a pretty cruisey day for most of us, although a small group went to dig a trench for the new bore water pipe being put in. It didn’t take very long but it was really hot. Everyone spent their day catching up on chores like washing and running around kicking footballs. Trent and Sam got excited over the vortex, performing classical catches. All our free time gave us the chance to work out our worship plan for Family Day. Some of Schultz sat around and read books, they were pretty proud. The girls head off on their three day hike tomorrow and the boys go on their trail ride.

Hello everyone
Early Saturday morning Richter girls had to wake up at 5am as we failed to keep our kitchen clean. Everyone else got woken up at 6:15am but then we soon realised it was a 7:00am start.
After Richter failed to keep things clean, everyone tried extra hard to make sure everything was right. In the end we got the full 15 points. We were really happy as we were the first to achieve this. At the end of the week Greasley won the 8:30am sleep in.
Today we were assigned our horses. We spent our day having our first riding lesson. Unfortunately Banjo was unwell which meant we were not able to ride him today.
Today we also got shown how to do the washing. Everyone was keen to get that done.

Hey everyone
Today we got up to the sight of fog! We didn’t get a chance to go horse riding but we helped out around camp and did some jobs like collecting firewood and cutting it for hot showers and cooking. We baked food such as scones, apple crumble and chocolate slice and we also got a chance to design our 2010 Russell Binga t-shirt.
We were shown how to start and use the lawn mowers without getting hurt. This afternoon a storm rolled through during which Trent and Mr Collier found amusement attempting to catch raindrops falling from the roof which was rather entertaining.
