Today everyone woke up excited as our families were coming.  After planning our worship we were all keen to show them what we have done.  After everyone settled in, some of the families played an interesting game of cricket.

We showed our families our new home and we shared the life at Binga.  As it came to the end of the day everyone started to say goodbye.  It was hard to see them drive away.  In the end it was a great day and many memories will stay with us.

As the whole of Russell were busy recovering from the three day hike, we also had to prepare for Family Day which everyone is excited about.  All went well with the horse riding and we are all keen for the trail rides.  Binga is going quickly for everyone with only two weeks to go and of course the boys in Parker are already preparing for Binga challenge.  As you would expect it is secret business and they will not reveal their training strategies.  Everyone is pumped for survival, especially Richter girls, hoping they can get a good night sleep without their tent falling over.

Hello All!

Today we worked on the finishing touches of our Family Day preparation.  Everyone worked very hard.  We also did some daily jobs that included wood chopping, washing clothes, cleaning the chapel and other odd jobs around the campus.  David and Lachlan cleaned the chapel mats and ended up breaking two brooms in half!  We burnt them later on the fire.

When some of us went to see the horses today, it was like we all smelt as they walked away and stood in a group like they were having a team meeting.

Not much else has happened but we will keep you updated.  We look forward to seeing our families on Sunday.

Today we did horse riding and jobs including woodcutting, baking, shovelling mulch and making a pen for the ducks.  We were all pretty keen to ride the horses and leart to control them properly.  We are preparing for Family Day and cannot wait to eat the yummy food our families bring us.
